The Londonderry Musical Society presents the enchanting Rodgers and Hammerstein classic, The King and I from Wednesday, 21 March 2012 to Saturday, 24 March 2012.
Set in the exotic splendour of 19th Century Imperial Siam, the show follows Anna, an unconventional British school teacher who becomes governess to a charming family of the King of Siam’s children, and features famous songs such as “I Whistle a Happy Tune”, “Getting to Know You”, “Hello, Young Lovers” and “Shall We Dance?”
LMS are this year celebrating their 50th anniversary, and this sumptuous production will present the very best of local talent to celebrate this special occasion.
